NEW Direct Debit Program

The Village of Rossville is offering a NEW Direct Debit Program! Currently, the Village of Rossville may direct debit a checking or savings account at the Bank of Rossville ONLY! The new direct debit program will offer, as a convenience to our customers, to direct debit a checking or savings from any bank in the United States as long as the Village has your routing number and bank account number. Contact the village office to obtain an Authorization form to authorize your account to be debited for your utility bill payment. Once the authorization form is completed, signed and returned to the village office, a test debit in the amount of $0.00 will be sent to your bank to verify the information is correct. After your account information is verified, the following month your bank account will be debited around the 19th of the month for the amount due for your utility account, whether it be the balance on your account or budget billing amount.

911 Procedures

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, September 12th, 2016 all 911 calls will be routed to Vermilion County 911 Center. All Rossville Police, Fire and EMS shall be done by the Vermilion County 911 Center. For all Non-Emergency calls, please call 217-442-0153!!

The Rossville Community Ambulance Service is selling town and rural number signs for all addresses that will make it quick and easy to find your home, day or night, when you are in need. First, by purchasing and displaying one of these highly visible, reflective house number signs for your home, you will eliminate delays in locating the emergency. Second, the proceeds will go to help fund the Service to continue our vital life saving mission for everyone in our community.

Arctic Cold Front Impacting Price of Natural Gas
The Village of Rossville is warning residents about the impact the arctic cold front had on natural gas prices over last weekend, Feb. 13-16, and potentially through next week. The Village is asking customers to reduce their natural gas usage during the next week.
